Thank you to the Richfield Library for the review on Goodreads of Make Your Customers Dance. Below is the excerpt.
"What I really liked about the angle of this book is that he took a concept everyone can understand 'getting people on- and staying on- the dance floor,' and applied it to the UX/IA concepts. For example, of course, you would want to "interview" the wedding couple to find out what they would like and would not. Of course, you would watch the floor to see what is driving people away (bounce) and what is making them get on (driving traffic) and stay on. You would try different music to see what get's people on their feet (A/B testing), and you would plan out a transition of music to move from one era to another (IA, content flow). If you work for an organization where you want to bring UX/IA/UCD but they are foreign concepts to those you need to influence, this would help make it all relatable."
