A big thank you to all the speakers who presented at Progressive Insurance's 8th Annual Inclusive Design Conference. It was a true honor to organize and host the event, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of our amazing volunteers, especially Steve Hunder and Andrew Fabian. A big shoutout as well to all the attendees including the advocates and champions who contributed to the event’s success.
A common theme that emerged was the importance of offering users options that make them feel welcome and empower them to succeed. Another key takeaway was the idea that disability can affect anyone, and by incorporating time in the software development lifecycle to address these unique experiences, we can create better products that benefit everyone. Please share more takeaways.
